Surgical Technologist

Job Description

We are seeking a qualified Surgical Technologist to join our dedicated team. The Surgical Technologist will play a critical role in supporting surgical procedures and ensuring the operating room is well-prepared for surgery.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain the sterile field during surgical procedures.
• Assist in the setup of surgical instruments and supplies.
• Collaborate with surgeons and surgical teams to ensure effective patient care.
• Handle instruments, sutures, and other equipment, ensuring proper use and sterilization.
• Monitor the patient’s conditions during surgery, keeping an eye on vital signs.
• Assist with patient positioning and preparation before surgery.
• Maintain and document surgical counts of instruments and supplies.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited surgical technology program.
• Certification as a surgical technologist is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of surgical instruments and procedures.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols.

Schedule

This position offers a 4×9 schedule from 7:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday through Thursday.
