Dietitian

Job Overview

We are seeking a qualified Dietitian to join our dietary services team. The ideal candidate will have experience providing comprehensive nutritional care for patients ranging from infants to geriatrics, with a focus on developing individualized nutrition plans and assessments.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct nutrition assessments and develop treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs.
• Monitor patient care and progress, making adjustments to nutrition plans as necessary.
• Manage enteral nutrition and parenteral nutrition (TPN) for patients.
• Provide guidance on food-drug interactions to optimize patient outcomes.
• Perform calorie counts and educate patients and families on nutritional best practices.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Dietitian.
• Registered Dietitian (RD) certification required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Experience with calorie counts, enteral nutrition, food-drug interactions, and TPN.

Scheduling and Compliance

The selected candidate will adhere to a maximum RTO of 7 days. Weekend work is not specified. Major holidays may require work based on assignment length, with compliance reporting required to ensure timely start dates.

Successful candidates will undergo a clinical review to assess fit for the position. Orientation hours will vary based on assignment length. Local candidates are welcome to apply at the same rate.
