CT Technologist

About this Position

We are seeking an experienced CT Technologist to join our team. The position involves working with a daily caseload that varies per shift and location. The ideal candidate will be available for a 4×10 hour shift from Monday to Thursday, 8:30 PM to 7:00 AM, with holiday rotation requirements. This role does not require on-call duties, but the clinician may need to float within the facility as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform computed tomography (CT) imaging procedures with a focus on patient safety and quality care.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure effective patient management.
• Utilize appropriate protocols to obtain high-quality images while minimizing radiation exposure.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure proper documentation in accordance with facility policies.
• Participate in staff meetings and continuous education opportunities.

Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience preferred, with 6 months in a Level 1 trauma environment required. New graduates with relevant experience will be considered.
• Certifications: Must hold BLS, ARRT RT (R) (CT), and SCRQSA (R) (CT) certifications.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency with PIV, Siemens imaging equipment, and experience in a Level 1 trauma setting.
• Radiation Badge: A radiation badge is required and must be supplied by the agency, as it is not provided by the institution.

Additional Information

• Floating Role: Ability to float to sister facilities within the region is required.
• Parking: Night and weekend parking is available for a one-time fee.
• Guaranteed Hours: The facility is permitted to call off 1 shift per 2-week period.
• Radius Rule: A 60-mile radius rule applies for this position.
