Occupational Therapy Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapy Assistant to provide exceptional therapy services under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist. This role involves assisting patients in developing and restoring their functional independence in accordance with state and federal regulations and facility guidelines.

Responsibilities:

• Implement therapy interventions as outlined in the Occupational Therapist’s plan of care.
• Document patient progress accurately and in a timely manner.
• Assist with patient and family education to facilitate understanding of therapy processes.
• Communicate patient status updates to the supervising Occupational Therapist.
• Adhere to all safety, infection control, and compliance protocols.

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
• Active state Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license or ability to obtain licensure.
• Strong teamwork and patient care skills.
