Shift Details
This position requires a 12-hour shift from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, Monday through Friday, with every other weekend and some holidays required.
Unit Information
The traveler will work in the following units:
- D6/5 – IMC Acute Med/Progressive Care Unit
- B4/3 – IMC Thoracic Unit
Responsibilities
The Registered Nurse will provide comprehensive nursing care, including:
- Monitoring telemetry oncology and cardiac patients
- Assisting in progressive care for IMC and step-down patients
- Providing advanced nursing support for patients on ventilators and transplant care
Qualifications
- Telemetry oncology, cardiac, and PCU/DOU/IMC/Stepdown experience is required
- Experience with ventilator and transplant patients is necessary
- Wisconsin RN or Compact RN license is required
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications from AHA are mandatory
Testing Requirement
Travelers will be required to pass a Telemetry test prior to starting the assignment.
