Registered Nurse (RN) – Special Care Nursery

Join our team as a Registered Nurse in the Special Care Nursery. This position involves providing high-quality care for infants needing special attention in a Level II nursery. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong clinical skills and a commitment to patient-centered care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide nursing care for infants in the Special Care Nursery, including monitoring vital signs, administering medication, and supporting feeding routines.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Assist in delivery room procedures and provide immediate care for newborns after delivery.
• Float to postpartum units for baby care assignments as needed.
• Engage in precepting new staff, providing guidance and support in the clinical setting.

Qualifications:

• Current BLS, NRP, and STABLE certifications required.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Special Care Nursery or related area.
• Experience in delivery room settings is essential.
• Previous charge nurse or preceptor experience is required.
• Must be willing to work every other weekend.

Shift Details:

This position offers a night shift schedule of 3×12 hours from 18:50 to 07:20. Scrubs will be provided for your convenience.
