Electrophysiology Tech

Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Electrophysiology Tech to join our dynamic team in the EP Lab. This role involves working with a diverse patient population ranging from adults to geriatrics.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in electrophysiology procedures and provide excellent patient care.
• Maintain a safe and efficient working environment.
• Operate and manage equipment used during procedures.
• Document patient information accurately within the unit systems.

Patient Ratio and Census

The tech will work in a setting with a patient ratio of 1:5, handling approximately 8-12 patients per day across 2 rooms.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of experience preferred; first-time candidates are welcome to apply.
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, ARRT R or CCI RCIS or CCI RCES.

Work Schedule

Shifts will be 4 days a week, consisting of 10-hour days from 07:00 to 17:30. Weekend shifts will be required every other weekend unless otherwise specified.

Holiday Requirements

Travelers are expected to work one major holiday if it falls within the assignment period. Should two major holidays occur, the traveler must work both. A maximum of two out of three major holidays is expected when applicable.

Additional Information

• RTO (Requested Time Off) is capped at 7 days, with specific blackout dates around Spring Break (April 4th-12th).
• Rare floating within the facility is possible based on the needs of the unit.
• Call requirements may include staying past shift hours when on call, but no weekend call will be required.
• All candidates must achieve full compliance to start on time; non-compliance may delay start dates by two weeks due to the orientation schedule.
• Clinical screens will be assessed on a case-by-case basis to determine fit within guidelines.

Compliance and Orientation

Candidates will undergo a clinical review to ensure they meet the clinical standards of practice for this role. Orientation hours will be determined based on contract length.
