Registered Nurse (RN) – Stepdown

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for the Stepdown/Progressive Care Unit (PCU). The ideal candidate should possess the following qualifications and skills.

Position Details

• Shift: Night shift, 3-12 hour shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
• Minimum of 18 months of permanent experience in Stepdown/PCU required.
• AHA BLS and ACLS certifications are required.
• Must hold an active Ohio nursing license or an active compact state license.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality patient care in the Stepdown/PCU environment.
• Assess and document patient conditions and responses to treatments.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to implement care plans.
• Monitor vital signs and manage critical patient situations.
• Educate patients and their families about health conditions and post-discharge care.

Qualifications

• Valid Registered Nurse license in Ohio or compact state.
• Minimum of 18 months of professional nursing experience in Stepdown/PCU.
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
