CT Technologist

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled CT Technologist to join our radiology team. The ideal candidate will be proficient in both CT and X-Ray procedures, contributing to our commitment to high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform CT and X-Ray examinations for outpatient and emergency department patients, including adults and pediatrics.
• Start intravenous (IV) lines, with an expectation to initiate approximately 8-9 IVs daily.
• Utilize PACS and portable imaging equipment, with preferred experience in Siemens and Samsung X-Ray systems.
• Conduct various X-Ray procedures including extremities, abdomen/GI, spine/pelvis, head, chest/thorax, and musculoskeletal studies.
• Execute CT exams including abdomen, pelvis, head/neck, chest, spine, brain perfusion studies, and CT angiograms.
• Meet departmental standards for patient comfort and safety, while ensuring high-quality imaging results.
• Occasionally float to other facilities as needed, demonstrating adaptability to various team environments.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in CT and X-Ray technology is required.
• BLS certification is mandatory.
• ARRT certification in both CT and Radiography is required.
• Experience with PACS systems and portable imaging is essential.
• Experience with both adult and pediatric patients is preferred, including infants.
• Familiarity with EPIC electronic health records is an asset.

Work Schedule

The position requires availability for evening shifts, typically Monday through Thursday, from 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM.
