Registered Nurse (RN) – Emergency Department

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Emergency Department team. This role requires a commitment to delivering high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in the Emergency Department.
• Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams to support patient needs and treatment.
• Ensure compliance with all safety and regulatory standards.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care activities.
• Participate in departmental meetings and training sessions as required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience; first-time travelers are welcomed.
• Active Registered Nurse license.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to work effectively within a team and adapt to changing priorities.

Work Schedule

This position requires flexibility in scheduling. The nurse will work three 12-hour night shifts per week, with the expectation of working every other weekend.

Compliance and Orientation

• Full compliance with all onboarding requirements is necessary to start on time.
• Orientation hours will vary based on contract length.

Holiday Requirements

Travelers are expected to accommodate major holidays based on the assignment period:

• If one major holiday occurs during the assignment, work is expected.
• If two major holidays occur, both are to be worked.
• If three major holidays occur, the traveler is expected to work two of them.

Additional Information

Locals are welcomed and will receive the same rates as travelers. Floating within the facility may be required as needed.
