ICU Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled ICU Registered Nurse to join our team. This position is primarily a day shift role, offering the opportunity to provide exceptional care to critically ill patients in the intensive care unit. The ideal candidate will be prepared to float outside of the ICU as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the ICU setting.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, including vital signs and symptoms.
• Administer medication and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Assist with procedures and examinations as necessary.
• Communicate effectively with patients and their families regarding care and treatment options.
• Maintain a safe and sterile environment in accordance with healthcare protocols.

Schedule

This position typically requires a commitment of 48 hours per week, with a preference for 4×12-hour shifts. There is flexibility to consider a schedule of 36 hours per week if preferred.

Qualifications

• Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Experience in ICU settings preferred.
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Start Dates

The preferred start date for this position is either November 30 or December 14.
