CT Technologist

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated CT Technologist to join our team. This role involves performing high-quality computed tomography (CT) scans in a healthcare environment. The ideal candidate must possess the required certifications and demonstrate strong technical skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform CT scans in accordance with established protocols.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures.
• Maintain and operate imaging equipment effectively.
• Prepare and administer contrast materials as necessary.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.
• Maintain accurate records of imaging procedures and patient information.
• Assist in training and mentoring junior staff as needed.

Qualifications

• Current ARRT credentials.
• Valid New Mexico state license in Radiologic Technology.
• Experience in CT technology preferred.
• Knowledge of radiologic safety and patient care.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to adapt to a dynamic work environment.

Work Schedule

The role requires flexibility, with schedules potentially comprising 8-hour or 12-hour shifts, including nights, days, and weekends. A rotating schedule is expected based on department needs.

Compliance Timeline

For new candidates, compliance can typically be completed within two weeks if valid credentials and a New Mexico license are available. Legacy candidates may require one week for compliance if they have valid credentials, a New Mexico license, and relevant health checks completed within the past year.

Travel Requirement

The position may require travel within a 75-mile radius based on departmental needs.
