Medical Assistant (Float)

Job Description

The Medical Assistant will be responsible for supporting healthcare providers by performing various administrative and clinical tasks. This position requires flexibility in working across multiple locations within the region.

Shift Details

• Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
• Weekend Requirements: None
• On-Call Requirements: None

Responsibilities

• Assist with patient care and clinical procedures.
• Prepare and maintain the examination room and necessary medical equipment.
• Document patient information accurately in the electronic medical record system.
• Coordinate and confirm patient appointments and follow-up visits.
• Support healthcare providers with various administrative tasks as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Medical Assistant is required.
• Must possess the ability to float between different locations based on the needs of the practice.
• Certification as a Medical Assistant is preferred but not required.

Dress Code

Matching scrubs in any color are required for this position.

Electronic Medical Records

This role requires proficiency in using Cerner as the electronic medical record system.
