Mammographer

Position Summary

The Mammographer performs imaging examinations on patients of all ages, contributing to the effective operation of the department while ensuring quality patient care. This role utilizes specialized training in mammography to deliver excellent patient services. The Mammographer may also undertake receptionist or clerical duties as required by the department.

Position Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiology Technologist program with dedicated mammography training preferred.
• Current registration with ARRT (R)(M) or equivalent required.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• A minimum of two years post-graduation experience preferred.
• Initial training in digital mammography and tomosynthesis required.
• Compliance with current MQSA requirements, including 15 breast CEUs within the past 36 months and 200 mammography exams within the past 24 months preferred.
• Ability to conduct routine screening and specialized diagnostic mammography studies preferred.
• Recent experience in x-ray technology preferred; familiarity with Fuji systems is advantageous.

Additional Information

• Private housing is not provided; shared housing arrangements will be available.
• No pets are allowed in housing facilities.
• Airfare is initially paid by the candidate and reimbursed upon arrival.
• Flight itinerary must be provided at least one week in advance for scheduling purposes.
• New Employee Orientation occurs every Tuesday and Wednesday.
• All required credentials must be submitted and cleared before travel can occur.
