Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) for a travel position. The successful candidate will work a 3×12 night shift schedule, including every other weekend, providing high-quality care to patients in the labor and delivery unit.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients during labor and delivery.
• Monitor patients’ vital signs and fetal heart rates.
• Assist with procedures and interventions as needed.
• Educate and support patients and their families throughout the labor process.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Current NRP certification.
• Experience in labor and delivery preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Working Conditions

This position requires a commitment to working nights and every other weekend. Candidates should be prepared for the physical demands of the role, including prolonged standing and the ability to lift patients as necessary.
