Registered Nurse (RN) – Stepdown Cardiac

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse with expertise in Stepdown Cardiac care to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong experience in Cardiac Tele and be proficient in using Epic EMR.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in a Stepdown Cardiac unit.
• Utilize Epic EMR for patient documentation and charting.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, administering appropriate treatments and medications.
• Support patients and their families with education and emotional support.
• Adhere to safety and quality protocols and guidelines.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year of experience with Epic EMR.
• Strong cardiac tele experience required.
• Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS.
• Active nursing license required; pending licenses not accepted.

Additional Information

• Night shift available: 3×12-hour shifts (19:00 – 07:30).
• Staffing ratios of 4:1 for optimal patient care.
• Free parking provided for staff members.
• Floating may be required to other units based on patient census, with floating assignments aligned to staff competencies.
• Guaranteed hours with the possibility of being called off one shift per two weeks.
