Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN)

Position Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) to join our team. The ER RN will provide high-quality care to patients in a fast-paced environment, working effectively to manage emergency situations across a diverse patient population.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver patient-centered care in a General Emergency Department setting, including combined adult and pediatric care.
• Perform essential nursing duties, including blood product administration, starting IVs, and managing trauma cases.
• Utilize advanced monitoring equipment and devices, including Tele Neuro and Tele Psych systems, as well as traction devices.
• Collaborate effectively with the healthcare team to optimize patient outcomes and ensure a high standard of care.

Qualifications

• Active nursing license in NM (may pend at the time of submission).
• Certification in ACLS, BLS, PALS, and TNCC is required.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in an emergency department is required.
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply.

Schedule

This position requires a minimum of 4 weekend shifts per schedule period, with potential additional shifts based on departmental needs. Block scheduling is not accommodated.

Additional Information

• Night shift availability (4×12-hour shifts).
• Floating within scope to meet facility needs is not required.
• Free parking is available on-site.
• Charting system utilized: Cerner.

Compliance Requirements

• COVID-19 vaccination is mandatory, with exemptions accepted upon completion of the required forms.
• Requests for time off greater than 7 days will require approval.
