Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in the Multispecialty Telemetry unit. This role involves providing high-quality care to medical, surgical, and cardiac patients requiring telemetry monitoring.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide care to 4-5 patients per nurse, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
• Collaborate with CNAs and the unit secretary to deliver effective patient care on all shifts.
• Float to various units or nearby facilities as needed based on staffing requirements.
• Utilize the Omnicell medication system for safe medication administration.
• Document patient care accurately using the EPIC system, requiring at least one year of experience.

Shift Details

This position is for night shifts, working 3 shifts of 12 hours per week. Weekend coverage is required every other weekend, subject to variations based on unit needs.

Qualifications

• Current South Carolina Registered Nurse license.
• ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications are required.
• Minimum of one year of EPIC experience.

Team Environment

The unit consists of a supportive team including two Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) and a unit secretary on every shift, fostering a collaborative atmosphere for patient care.
