X-Ray Tech

Schedule

This position features a rotating schedule comprising 4 shifts in the first pay week and 3 shifts in the second pay week:

• Week 1: Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday
• Week 2: Sunday, Monday, Tuesday

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated X-Ray Tech to join our team at a large Level I trauma center. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the operating room and proficiency with Siemens and GE equipment.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform X-Ray imaging and procedures with a high level of skill and accuracy.
• Collaborate with medical staff to optimize patient care and workflow.
• Maintain compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
• Float within scope to meet the facility’s needs, including Emergency Department (ED), Inpatient (IP), Outpatient (OP), Operating Room (OR), and portable imaging.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in radiology, with a preference for candidates with Level I trauma experience.
• At least 1 year of travel experience in a similar role.
• ARRT certification is required.
• Extensive experience in the operating room, including O-Arm procedures.
• Familiarity with Siemens and GE imaging equipment is highly desirable.
• Availability to work weekends is mandatory.
• Local candidates are welcomed; however, pending licenses will not be accepted.

Special Requirements

• Extensive OR experience is a must; previous experience in a large volume hospital is preferred.
• Holiday request time off is to be kept to a minimum.

Position Details

This position includes 80 hours biweekly with a combination of night shifts, specifically:

• Night 3×11.5-Hour (19:00 – 07:00)
• Night 4×11.5-Hour (19:00 – 07:00)
