Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (L&D RN)

Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (L&D RN) to join our team. This role is focused on providing exceptional care to patients during the labor and delivery process while utilizing advanced medical technologies and methodologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care throughout the labor and delivery process.
• Monitor maternal and fetal vital signs and health indicators.
• Assist in the development and implementation of patient care plans.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure high-quality care.
• Educate patients and families about the birthing process and postnatal care.

Work Schedule

• Weekends required: 6 days
• Block schedules required

Patient Ratios

Expected patient care ratios range from 1:1 to 1:2.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of experience in Labor and Delivery nursing.
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).
• Registered Nurse (RN) licensure required.
• EPIC HARDSTOP certification required.
