Registered Nurse (RN) – MS/Tele Float

Position Overview

As a Float Pool RN, you will provide essential care across multiple Medical-Surgical and Telemetry units, catering to a diverse patient population while addressing the staffing needs throughout the healthcare setting.

Schedule

• Night shifts: 3×12-Hour (19:00 – 07:30)
• Rotating weekends and holidays
• Float between 4–6 Medical-Surgical/Telemetry units
• Block scheduling is not available

Contract Details

• Longer assignments available through January 9, 2027, though not required
• Travelers must work two of the three winter holidays

Staffing Ratios

The position features a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:5–6, ensuring a supportive care environment.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of current, strong Medical-Surgical/Telemetry Float Pool experience
• Current MD or compact license is required
• Must possess current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
• Previous travel nursing experience is mandatory
• MeditECH experience is preferred
• Ability to independently interpret cardiac rhythms is required
