Sterile Processing Technician

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Sterile Processing Technician to assist in maintaining a safe and sterile environment for surgical procedures. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the cleaning, sterilization, and preparation of medical instruments and equipment.

Key Responsibilities

• Clean and sterilize surgical instruments and equipment using designated techniques and protocols.
• Inspect, assemble, and package surgical instruments for sterilization.
• Ensure proper inventory management of supplies and equipment.
• Maintain accurate records of sterilization processes and outcomes.
• Adhere to safety and infection control standards at all times.
• Collaborate with surgical teams to meet the needs of the operating room.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in sterile processing or a related field.
• Knowledge of sterilization techniques and infection control protocols.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

Work Schedule

Shifts available include 3 PM – 11:30 PM and 12 PM – 8:30 PM. Position requires rotating on-call availability on weekends.
