Sterile Processing Technician

Job Summary

We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Sterile Processing Technician to join our team. This role is critical in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and sterility for surgical instruments and medical equipment.

Shifts

• 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM or 12:00 PM – 8:30 PM
• Rotating call on weekends

Responsibilities

• Decontaminate, clean, and sterilize surgical instruments and medical equipment.
• Ensure proper functioning and maintenance of sterilization equipment.
• Prepare and package sterile items for surgical procedures.
• Monitor sterilization processes and maintain records in compliance with regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with healthcare staff to ensure timely availability of sterile instruments.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in sterile processing or a related field.
• Knowledge of sterilization techniques and protocols.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
