Monday to Thursday: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM

Friday: 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM

40 hours guaranteed

Weekend work is not required.

Job Description

Under general supervision, the Physical Therapist (PT) delivers physical therapy services by evaluating patient needs, setting goals, and developing treatment plans in accordance with state practice acts. The therapist treats patients using appropriate therapeutic interventions, participates in team and interdisciplinary meetings, and demonstrates competency in managing multiple patient populations, including at least one high-risk group.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess patient needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Utilize effective therapeutic interventions to treat patients.
• Participate actively in team meetings and interdisciplinary discussions.
• Manage a caseload in alignment with productivity standards.
• Demonstrate proficiency in treating at least two high-risk patient populations per hour.
• Maintain accurate documentation and documentation standards using EMR.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of recent Physical Therapy experience.
• Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy.
• Active Physical Therapist license in Maryland at the time of submission.
• Vaccination records for COVID-19 and influenza are required, with no exemptions.
• Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing.
• Strong customer service skills are essential.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage a patient schedule efficiently.
• Basic computer skills and proficiency in EMR navigation.
• Preferred experience in acute care settings.

Compliance Requirements

Candidates must be willing to complete a 48-hour compliance process as a condition of employment.
