ICU Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Intensive Care Unit (ICU) team. This position requires a strong background in ICU and Intermediate Care (IMC) level care, with a focus on patient flow and optimal care ratios of 1:5 at the highest level.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the ICU.
• Monitor patient conditions and assess care requirements.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to optimize patient outcomes.
• Support patients and families through education and emotional support.

Schedule

This position involves scheduling every other weekend, requiring commitment to weekend rotations.

Qualifications

• Must possess a current Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• ACLS and BLS certifications are required.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in ICU nursing.
• Experience in Intermediate Care (IMC) nursing is preferred.
• Strong critical thinking and clinical decision-making skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
