Registered Nurse (RN)

Shift Details

• D/E Mids
• 3, 12-hour shifts
• 36-hour work weeks
• Shifts from 11:00 AM or 1:00 PM to 11:00 PM or 1:00 AM

Qualifications

• Active RN Licensure in Washington State or a Compact RN License
• Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, and TNCC
• Adherence to organizational policies and unit standards
• Familiarity with the Washington Nurse Practice Act and unit-specific standards of practice

Responsibilities

The Registered Nurse will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care. Duties include:

• Coordinating and delivering patient care with compassion
• Developing, implementing, and continuously reassessing individualized patient care plans
• Administering medications and performing nursing procedures and treatments
• Evaluating discharge plans for appropriateness and educational needs
• Accurate documentation of care provided, assessments, interventions, and patient responses
• Collecting necessary patient information to ensure safe, high-quality care
• Conducting ongoing holistic assessments of patient status and responding appropriately
• Determining and executing nursing actions to meet care goals, addressing physical, psychological, social, and rehabilitative needs
• Teaching patients and their families health information, supplemented with written materials
• Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of workflows, processes, and evidence-based procedures
• Delegating tasks appropriately and supervising care provided by non-licensed staff
• Participating in performance evaluation and improvement processes
• Communicating and collaborating effectively with all members of the healthcare team
• Ensuring a clean and safe environment for patients and staff in accordance with policies
