Registered Nurse (RN) – Emergency Department

Job Overview

An exciting opportunity is available for a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department. This position offers a dynamic work environment with a focus on providing high-quality care to patients of all ages in critical situations.

Shift Details

• Night Shift: 3×12 hours (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
• Rotating shifts may include 36 or 48-hour weeks.
• Weekend and holiday shifts are required, with a minimum of 8 weekends per contract.
• Float to other areas as needed.

Job Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care in a combined adult and pediatric emergency department.
• Administer blood products and manage central lines.
• Perform essential skills such as phlebotomy and starting IVs.
• Provide continuous IV sedation and administer IV vasopressors.
• Administer procedural sedation and manage CPAP/BiPAP therapy.
• Interpret arterial blood gas (ABG) results and care for ventilated patients.
• Conduct triage assessments efficiently.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in an emergency department setting.
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply.
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIH, PALS.
• Experience with EPIC electronic health record system.
• Must be capable of managing patient ratios of 1:5.
