Registered Nurse (RN) – Med/Surg Telemetry

Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse with a focus in Med/Surg Telemetry to provide high-quality patient care on the Night shift. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills and the ability to work in a high-paced environment. This position requires a commitment to patient-centered care and teamwork within a dynamic nursing unit.

Shift Schedule

This position entails working four 12-hour night shifts, from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing assessment and management for patients in a Med/Surg Telemetry setting.
• Monitor vital signs, interpret telemetry readings, and respond appropriately to changes in patient conditions.
• Administer medications and therapies in accordance with established protocols.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members to optimize patient care plans.
• Educate patients and families regarding health conditions and post-hospital care.
• Document patient care and progress accurately in compliance with regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 12 months of direct Med/Surg Telemetry experience.
• Must hold a valid Ohio nursing license or a compact state license.
• AHA BLS and ACLS certifications are required.

Additional Information

This position does not offer block schedules. Candidates should be prepared to work on a flexible schedule to meet the needs of the unit and patient care.
