Job Summary

The Unit Manager is responsible for overseeing the operations of a designated unit, ensuring quality patient care, managing staff, and optimizing the unit’s performance. This role involves strategic planning, staff coordination, and adherence to regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations of the unit to ensure efficient workflow.
• Coordinate staffing, including scheduling and performance evaluations.
• Implement and monitor quality improvement initiatives.
• Provide leadership and guidance to nursing staff and other team members.
• Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and organizational policies.
• Develop and maintain a positive and collaborative environment for staff and patients.
• Participate in budgeting and resource allocation processes.

Qualifications

• Current and valid nursing license.

Schedule

This position typically operates Monday to Friday, with responsibilities that may require being on call during weekends as necessary.
