Occupational Therapy Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapy Assistant to provide valuable therapy services under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist (OT). The ideal candidate will adhere to state and federal regulations and facility guidelines to assist patients in developing and restoring functional independence.

Responsibilities

• Implement therapy interventions as outlined in the OT plan of care.
• Document patient progress with accuracy and timeliness.
• Assist in educating patients and their families about therapy and treatment plans.
• Communicate patient status effectively to the supervising OT.
• Adhere to all safety, infection control, and compliance protocols.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
• Possession of an active state COTA license (or ability to obtain).
• Strong teamwork and patient care skills.
