Ultrasound Technologist

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Ultrasound Technologist to join our team. In this role, you will perform ultrasound imaging in accordance with established protocols, ensuring high-quality images and proper patient care.

Responsibilities

• Conduct ultrasound examinations and assist in diagnostic procedures.
• Ensure images meet technical quality standards.
• Document patient information and imaging results accurately.
• Maintain and operate ultrasound equipment safely and efficiently.
• Work collaboratively with healthcare professionals to provide quality care.

Schedule

This position involves rotating 10-hour day and evening shifts, with a 8:00 AM – 6:30 PM schedule. You will be required to work every fourth weekend.

Qualifications

• Must hold ARDMS certification.
• BLS certification is required.
• Previous experience with Cerner electronic medical records (EMR) is preferred.
• Willingness to obtain a state license upon acceptance if licensed outside of the region.

Additional Information

Orientation for new hires is conducted biweekly. Schedule requests will be considered at the manager’s discretion. Ensure all employment history is comprehensive and accurately documented, including explanations for any gaps over 30 days. Public transportation may not be accessible; personal vehicle is recommended for commuting.
