Caregiver

Role Overview

The Caregiver is responsible for providing assistance and support to individuals in need of personal care. This role involves fostering a safe and supportive environment to enhance the quality of life for clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, grooming, and meal preparation.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
• Monitor client health and report any changes to the appropriate personnel.
• Help in maintaining a clean and safe living environment.
• Administer medications as prescribed and assist with health-related tasks.
• Support clients in their mobility and transportation needs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in a caregiver or similar role preferred.
• Possess a valid caregiver certification or be willing to obtain certification.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Empathy and a passion for helping others.
• Ability to perform physical tasks and assist clients with mobility.
• Reliable and dependable with a strong work ethic.
