Electrophysiology Technologist

We are seeking an experienced Electrophysiology Technologist to join our dynamic team. This position offers a flexible commitment, with options for 13 or 26-week assignments. The work schedule consists of 4×10 daytime shifts, providing you with a balanced work-life schedule.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in diagnostic procedures, including Diagnostic Cardiac Catheterization and Interventional Cardiac Catheterization.
• Support STEMI cases, manage IABP, Impella, Tandem Heart, and Structural Heart interventions.
• Contribute to Interventional Radiology tasks such as lines, drains, embolizations, and thrombolysis.
• Participate in neurointervention procedures and CRM device implants.
• Work collaboratively with the team and may be required to float to similar units as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Electrophysiology or related fields.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications are required.
• Proficient in various procedures including CTO, peripherals, and rhythm interpretation.
• Experience with Philips X-Ray systems and a variety of atherectomy and thrombectomy devices is preferred.
• Familiarity with McKesson for Cath Lab and MacLab/Cardio Lab for EP is advantageous.

Schedule and Availability

This position requires availability for some Saturday shifts, which will be included in the standard 4 shifts for the week. The technologist may also be asked to participate in on-call duties from 6-8 PM as needed.

Additional Information

• Parking is available at no cost.
• Charting will be conducted using Epic.
• Guaranteed hours are set at 70 over a 2-week period, with the understanding that the technologist may be called off for one 10-hour shift during this timeframe.
