An opportunity is available for an Electrophysiology Technologist with specialized skills to join a dynamic healthcare team. The selected candidate will play a key role in a fast-paced environment, supporting diagnostic and interventional procedures related to cardiac care.

Contract Details

• Assignment Length: 13 or 26 Weeks
• Start Date: ASAP
• Shift: 4×10 Days
• Years of Experience Required: 2 years
• First Timers Accepted: Yes
• Certifications Required: BLS, ACLS
• Weekend Requirements: Some Saturdays as part of the regular schedule
• Guaranteed Hours: 70 hours per 2 weeks, with potential for adjustment

Job Responsibilities

The Electrophysiology Technologist will be responsible for:

• Assisting in diagnostic cardiac catheterizations and interventional procedures such as STEMI, IABP, Impella, and structural heart interventions.
• Utilizing advanced technologies for Neurointervention, including lines, drains, and embolizations.
• Managing complex cardiac device implants.
• Supporting clinical care by operating equipment and ensuring optimal patient safety and comfort.
• Collaborating with healthcare team members to maintain high-quality care standards.

Qualifications

Candidates must have:

• Minimum 2 years of experience as an Electrophysiology Technologist or similar role.
• Strong skills in various procedures, including CTO, peripherals, venous access, rhythm interpretation, and operating Philips X-Ray systems.
• Familiarity with various atherectomy and thrombectomy devices, as well as temporary LVAD support.
• Proficiency in McKesson for Cath Lab and MacLab/Cardio Lab for electrophysiology.

Additional Information

While the technologist may float to like units when needed, local candidates are not accepted for this position. Any requests for time off will be evaluated on an individual basis upon offer. Parking is free on the premises.
