Electrophysiology Technician

Job Description

Join our team as an Electrophysiology Technician, where you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care within a dynamic environment. Your expertise will contribute to advanced diagnostic and interventional procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in diagnostic and therapeutic electrophysiology procedures.
• Utilize specialized equipment and technology to perform high-level procedures including device implants and complex cases.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Maintain equipment and ensure compliance with safety regulations.

Schedule

This position involves a 4×10 day shift schedule. Occasional Saturday work is required as part of the regular shifts. Flexibility is essential to meet operational needs.

On-Call Requirements

Additional on-call coverage may be required from 6 PM to 8 PM following a shift, primarily for post-procedure support.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a relevant field.
• Current certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS).
• Familiarity with diagnostic cardiac cath, interventional cardiac cath, and various advanced techniques.
• Proficiency in rhythm interpretation and operation of Phillips X-Ray Systems.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with chronic total occlusions (CTO), peripheral interventions, and venous access.
• Knowledge of a variety of atherectomy and thrombectomy devices.
• Ability to provide temporary Left Ventricular Assist Device (LVAD) support.
• Experience with McKesson for Cath Lab and MacLab/Cardio Lab for Electrophysiology.

Additional Information

• Guaranteed hours of 70 hours per two weeks.
• Some floating may be required to meet facility needs.
• All requests for time off will be addressed on an individual basis following the offer.
