Occupational Therapy Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our team. This position involves providing essential therapeutic services under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations as well as facility guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Implement therapy interventions according to the Occupational Therapist’s plan of care.
• Document patient progress accurately and in a timely manner.
• Assist with education for patients and their families.
• Communicate patient status and progress to the supervising Occupational Therapist.
• Adhere to all safety, infection control, and compliance protocols.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
• Active state COTA license (or ability to obtain).
• Strong teamwork and patient care skills.
