Registered Nurse (RN) – Emergency Room

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Emergency Room team. This position requires a commitment to providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in an Emergency Department setting, including both adult and pediatric populations.
• Administer blood products and manage central line care.
• Perform phlebotomy and start IVs as needed.
• Administer continuous IV sedation and IV vasopressors.
• Conduct procedural sedation administration.
• Utilize CPAP/BiPAP and interpret arterial blood gases.
• Care for ventilated patients and provide triage as necessary.
• Maintain an appropriate nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:5.

Work Schedule

This position is for night shifts consisting of four 12-hour shifts each week, from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM. Weekend and holiday shifts are also required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a hospital Emergency Department.
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply.
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIH, and PALS.
• Experience with EPIC electronic health records system.
