Sterile Processing Tech (SPT)

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Sterile Processing Tech to join our surgical services team. This position requires a strong focus on quality and safety within the sterile processing department.

Job Description

The Sterile Processing Tech will be responsible for the following:

• Ensuring proper sterilization of surgical instruments and equipment.
• Conducting quality control checks on sterilization processes.
• Maintaining and tracking inventory of sterile supplies.
• Collaborating with surgical staff to ensure timely availability of sterile instruments.

Schedule

This position requires working five 8-hour night shifts, from 11:00 PM to 7:30 AM. Every other weekend is required.

Qualifications

• Certification from IAHCSMM or HSPA is required.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in sterile processing.
• Must have completed at least one travel assignment.
• Prior acute hospital operating room experience is required.

Additional Requirements

All employees are required to have the flu vaccine as part of the health and safety protocols.
