OR Certified Surgical Tech

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced OR Certified Surgical Tech to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in surgical technology, particularly in orthopedic procedures, and experience with robotic surgery utilizing the Da Vinci system. This position requires a commitment to maintaining a sterile environment and assisting surgeons with utmost precision.

Responsibilities

• Function under the direct supervision of an RN, assisting in the preparation and care of surgical patients.
• Perform technical duties related to scrub functions, reacting efficiently to all surgical situations.
• Assist with the cleaning, sterilization, and disinfection of surgical instruments and equipment.
• Ensure the operating room is set up correctly and maintain a sterile surgical environment throughout procedures.
• Support the surgical team and be prepared to precept new staff as needed.

Qualifications

• MUST be a certified Surgical Tech.
• Completion of a Certified Surgical Tech program is required.
• Prior travel experience is necessary.
• Must have orthopedic experience and scrubbing expertise.
• Experience with the Da Vinci surgical system is essential.
• BLS certification is required.

Schedule

This position involves 8-hour day shifts, with weekend, call, and holiday responsibilities required. The selected candidate must be able to arrive within 30 minutes of being called in.
