ICU Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced ICU Registered Nurse to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in critical care nursing and be prepared to deliver high-quality care in an Intermediate Care Unit (IMC) and occasionally float to the ICU unit.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in the IMC/ICU setting.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, administering medications and treatments as necessary.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Maintain accurate patient records and communicate effectively with staff and families.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 2 years of nursing experience, with a minimum of 1 travel assignment completed.
• ICU experience is required.
• Proficiency with Cerner EMR is mandatory.
• Candidates must successfully pass the Relias EKG Rhythm Interpretation Exam, achieving at least 80% overall and 100% on lethal rhythms.
• Current certifications in ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS are required.

Schedule

This position offers a night shift schedule of 3×12 hours. The candidate will be expected to work every other weekend, totaling 6 weekend shifts (Saturday or Sunday) during a six-week period.
