Registered Nurse (RN)

We are seeking a skilled and flexible Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. This role requires the ability to float between various medical and surgical units, providing high-quality patient care in diverse settings.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver patient care in medical, surgical, and cardiovascular units.
• Utilize Meditech EMR and equipment such as Pyxis, wound vacs, and chest tubes.
• Adapt to various nursing units as needed, ensuring comprehensive care.
• Participate in orientation and training specific to each unit.

Position Details

• Shift Schedule: 12-hour shifts during the day, from 0645 to 1915.
• Scheduled for 36 hours per week following an initial orientation period.
• No guarantee of hours; flexibility is essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience.
• Current certifications: BLS and ACLS are required (PALS, Procedural Sedation, TNCC, and ENPC are preferred).
• Active State of Hawaii nursing license required prior to starting the assignment.

Patient Care and Unit Information

• Patient-to-nurse ratios: Medical Unit 1:6 during days and evenings, 1:8 at night; Laulima Unit 1:6; Cardiovascular Unit 1:4.
• Various coverage required across medical and surgical units, including rare assignments to cardiovascular settings.

Professional Requirements

• Must adhere to professional nursing attire standards, wearing clean scrubs.
• Holiday coverage is required.
