Registered Nurse (RN)

Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) with recent pre-operative experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills and certifications in BLS, ACLS, and PALS. This role involves working in a dynamic environment with a focus on patient care in pre-operative and post-anesthesia recovery settings.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide pre-operative and post-anesthesia recovery care to patients.
• Administer medications and monitor patient vitals in accordance with established protocols.
• Conduct assessments to evaluate patient conditions and respond to emergencies as needed.
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care activities.

Qualifications

• Current Massachusetts RN license is required upon submission.
• Minimum of 2 years recent experience in pre-operative settings is mandatory.
• Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, and PALS are required.
• Availability to work weekends and holidays as necessary.
• Ability to respond to on-call situations within a 30-minute timeframe.
• Commitment to maintaining a sterile and safe environment for all patients.

Testing Requirements

All candidates will be required to complete an ECG/Tele test and a medications test during the onboarding process. Successful completion of these tests on the first attempt is mandatory, with a passing score of 85% required. Test preparation is strongly recommended using the provided study guide.

Other Information

Travelers who have worked within the past six months in similar roles are not eligible for this position. All requests for time off must be submitted at the time of application. A flu vaccination is mandatory, with medical exemptions considered.
