Medical Surgical Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Medical Surgical Registered Nurse (RN) traveler to support our ongoing needs within the Emergency Department (ED). This position focuses on addressing ED Boarding requirements and offers flexibility in scheduling.

Shift and Schedule

• 3×12 hour shifts: Days/Nights rotation available
• Option for Straight Nights
• 4-week rotation for each schedule
• Every other weekend and holiday requirements

Orientation

Orientation will be accommodated during the weeks of September 14 and September 28.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate and efficient care to patients within the Emergency Department.
• Coordinate and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, reporting changes as necessary.
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered, ensuring patient safety and adherence to protocols.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care.

Qualifications

• Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Experience in a medical/surgical setting preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in high-stress environments.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
