Registered Nurse (RN)

Shift Information

Schedule: 4 days a week, 10-hour shifts, with shared on-call rotation.

Minimum Experience

Requires a minimum of 2 years of experience in SSSU/PACU, Pre-operative, and Post-operative care.

Certifications/Requirements

• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
• BLS/BCLS (Basic Life Support)
• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse with expertise in the following areas: Pre-operative, Post-operative, PACU (Post Anesthesia Care Unit), Phase II, Endoscopy, and Infusion.

The Registered Nurse will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care across the Outpatient Services area, which comprises Day Surgery, Endoscopy Lab, PACU, and the Pre-operative Clinic. Duties include performing nursing assessments, delivering peri-operative education and care, and recognizing potential post-anesthesia and post-operative complications.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer nursing care in accordance with standard protocols and best practices.
• Float between various Outpatient Services areas as needed.
• Assist in conscious sedation for special procedures.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
