Registered Nurse (RN) – Telemetry

Join a dynamic team in a progressive care environment, catering to adult and geriatric patients who require cardiac monitoring and elevated observation levels. This unit specializes in providing care for patients with various complex medical needs.

Schedule

• 3×12-hour shifts
• Rotating weekends and holidays
• Float within scope as needed
• Block scheduling is not available

Unit Overview

The Telemetry/Progressive Care Unit specializes in the following patient populations:

• Congestive Heart Failure (CHF)
• NSTEMI
• Pre-cardiac catheterization patients
• Stroke
• Pulmonary disorders
• Diabetes
• Multi-system disease
• Post-surgical patients

Staffing Ratios

• 12 PCU beds: 1:4 nurse-to-patient ratio
• Telemetry patients: Typically 1:5, with a maximum ratio of 1:6

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of RN experience
• Must possess a Maryland or compact license
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• First-time travelers are welcome!
• MEDITECH experience is preferred
