Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA)

Position Overview

A dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) is sought for a 13-week contract to support patient rehabilitation and wellness initiatives. This role is integral in building patient relationships and assisting in recovery processes.

Job Responsibilities

• Assist physical therapists in implementing treatment plans and patient care.
• Monitor patient progress and report changes to the supervising physical therapist.
• Educate patients and their families on exercises and techniques to promote recovery.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the therapy area and equipment.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of care plans.

Qualifications

• Current state licensure or eligibility as a Physical Therapist Assistant.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
• Proficient in basic computer skills and documentation processes.

Schedule

This position requires availability from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday.

Contract Length

The position is for a duration of 13 weeks.
