Certified OR Tech / Surgical Tech (CST)

Position Details

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Certified OR Tech / Surgical Tech (CST) to join our surgical services team. The position offers a shift of 4×10 hours, from 6:45 AM to 5:15 PM.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in surgical procedures across various specialties, including General Surgery, Robotics, Orthopedics, Podiatry, Gynecology, Eyes, Urology, and ENT.
• Maintain a sterile environment during surgeries and ensure all surgical instruments are prepared and functioning.
• Collaborate closely with surgeons and other medical staff to facilitate effective surgical outcomes.
• Participate in on-call duties, covering 4 weekdays and 1.5 weekends in a 4-week period.
• Float between different service lines as needed, adapting to various surgical teams.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a surgical tech role.
• National certifications required: BLS and NBSTSA. Note that NCCT is not accepted.
• Radiation badge is required and must be provided by the agency.

Additional Information

• Scrubs will be provided for the duration of the assignment.
• Charting will be performed using Epic software.
• Parking is available free of charge.
• During hurricane season (June to November), all staff may be assigned to emergency response teams; please consider this before accepting assignments during this period.
