Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for a long-term care (LTC) nursing home assignment. This role offers a structured schedule with opportunities for extended assignments. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing high-quality patient care and a strong background in LTC settings.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
• Monitor and report changes in residents’ health status to nursing staff.
• Support residents with mobility and assist with physical therapy exercises.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for residents.
• Document patient care activities and maintain accurate records using EMR.

Shift Details

This position requires a commitment to a structured schedule:

• First Week: Off on Sunday; Work Monday and Tuesday; Off Wednesday and Thursday; Work Friday and Saturday (4 days total)
• Second Week: Work on Sunday; Off Monday and Tuesday; Work Wednesday and Thursday; Off Friday and Saturday (3 days total)

Qualifications

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant certification in Georgia.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Minimum of one year of experience in a long-term care setting.
• Previous travel experience is preferred.
• Familiarity with Electronic Medical Records (EMR), specifically ECS.

Schedule

This position does not allow for special scheduling requests and requires minimal to no request time off (RTO). Availability to work on weekends and holidays as needed is essential.
