MS Tele Registered Nurse (RN)

About the Position

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated MS Tele Registered Nurse to join our new unit. This position plays a crucial role in providing quality patient care in a telemetry setting.

Shift Details

• Shifts: 3×12 Days (6:45 AM – 7:15 PM)
• Patient Ratios: 1:6
• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend (non-negotiable)
• On-call Requirement: No
• Floating Requirement: Yes, within scope to meet facility needs

Unit Details

• New unit – built from the ground up
• Bedside monitoring equipment includes telemetry, blood pressure, and pulse oximetry capabilities
• Charge duties split between stepdown and the designated unit
• Current capacity: 18 beds
• Leadership is available during off-shift hours via phone
• 24/7 coverage by a house supervisor

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in MS/Tele and telemetry nursing
• First-time travelers are welcome
• Active SC license or Compact license required prior to start
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS are mandatory
• Preferred experience: Community hospital experience

• Open to block schedule requests; approval not guaranteed
• Local radius for applicants: 60 miles
• Local candidates are accepted
• All requests for time off must be included at the time of submission
• Facility may call off 1 shift every 2 weeks
