Medical Technologist

We are seeking a dedicated Medical Technologist to join our laboratory team. The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology, Medical Laboratory Science, Biological Science, or a related field. Certification from ASCP or AMT is preferred, and eligibility for certification is required. MLT candidates will be considered for lower BR roles.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform laboratory tests with a focus on blood bank processes.
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of laboratory processes and results.
• Collaborate with other laboratory staff to ensure efficient workflow.
• Participate in quality assurance and quality control procedures.
• Stay updated with advancements in laboratory techniques and technologies.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology, Medical Laboratory Science, Biological Science, or a related field.
• ASCP certification preferred (must be eligible); AMT certification preferred.
• Demonstrated strong experience in blood bank.
• Familiarity with Epic and Atellica systems is preferred.
• Additional experience in Chemistry, Hematology, Microbiology, Immunology, and Urinalysis/Body Fluids is preferred, particularly in U.S. or Canadian accredited laboratories.
• Availability for rotating weekend shifts.

Work Schedule:

This position involves a night shift consisting of five 8-hour workdays (22:30 – 07:00). Please note that block schedules are not applicable for this role.
